InfoRSS is an extension that is compatible with the main products developed by
Mozilla: Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey, that
shows the latest news updates on your screen.
The use of this complement in
Firefox is really useful, because while you are
performing other tasks over Internet, you will be able to see the latest updates from the feeds that you have subscribed to in the information bar of your browser. At any moment, by clicking on a headline that you are interested in, you will be able to view expanded information in the new tabs.
To make its use a lot nicer and precise, from the complements options we can access a grand quantity of information and configurable parameters. But what are really interesting are the tabs:

Basic. Shows the available
RSS and allows to add new ones. What's more, it allows to modify the icons, title and the description of each of the feeds, the style of the headline, manage the notifications of new titles, etc...

Advanced. Allows to choose the amount of titles, the amount of characters per title and the update frequency rate of each feed, among other options. It also offers the possibility to perform synchronization tasks.
